I have constant pain every day but all my scans and tests keep coming back completely normal. Some answers to this mystery would be amazing!
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
About 10 years ago I had gallstones and had my gallbladder removed through my belly button. About 5 years after that I was having abnormal pain and ended up having adhesions. The doctor went in and all my free flowing organs were in a ball. My colon and liver had to be detached and my appendix was inflamed and attached to my right ovary. I had my appendix removed while he was in there cleaning up the adhesions. A few months ago I started having bad pain in my back (left flank side) and in the front left side under my rib and by my belly button. I have had tests after tests done and everything is coming back normal and showing that everything is remarkable. I was admitted to the ER a few months ago because the pain got so bad I passed out at work. While in the ER they said u had blood in my urine and to follow up with a urologist who was of no use and said it was “normal” to sometimes see blood in urine. My GI doctors has ordered scans(MRI AND CT). Chrones, colitis, tumors etc have all been ruled out. Nothing is showing on any of my tests but I am still experiencing pain every single day. The pain is constant which I just deal with at this point and sometimes will spike and get sharp for a few mins than subside. Sometimes it stays sharp for longer. I get nauseous almost every day and get sweats sometimes and get nervous I will collapse again. I was referred to a surgeon because my GI thought it might have been adhesions since my tests are coming back fine, the surgeon stated she didn’t not think I had adhesions and to see an allergist to rule out a food allergy. Which I doubt has anything to do with it but shoot I’ll give it a try at this point. The pain is not consistent with me eating food or any certain types off food, I’m always in pain whether I eat 12 times a day or zero. I am running out of options and the doctors I feel are just giving up on me. They see that my tests are coming back normal so they are just pushing me off to someone else instead of helping me to figure out why I’m in pain by my tests are coming back fine. Also when I had gallstones, they did not show up on any tests or ultra sounds. He didn’t not know the extent of the crystallization until he opened my gallbladder and it was filled. This was also when I was 13 years old. I am now 24. My point is that I am too young to be dealing with all of this but the doctors use that as an excuse when they rule out what I might have. I am abnormal to begin with and have always passed these sort of tests when something was truly wrong. I would love some input or feed back on what is going on with me. Thank you for reading!
