- CASE FILE
I was diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri (aka idiopathic intracranial hypertension) in 2010 and diagnosed again with this after 7 years.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
The one that was not listed is pseudotumor cerebri which is too much spinal fluid in the brain that mimics the effects of a brain tumor. Untreated can lead to vision loss and cause is unknown. I was diagnosed in 2010 and was in remission until 2018. Since I also have fibromyalgia and chronic pain, trying the things I did before has become difficult. Limited neurologists are able to come to a treatment plan that doesn't involve risky surgery. I have some memory loss, difficulty concentrating, mood swings, and it complicates my PTSD from the service.
