ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I am at the moment seeing several specialists, Rheumatologist, Neurologist, Pain Management, Orthopedic Surgeon, Hand specialist, Physical Therapy. I have been suffering with Fibromyalgia, most of my life. I was in a traumatic car accident, at the age of fifteen. I had a fractured pelvis, in three locations and a blood clot on the left side of my head. After eight or ten years, I started experiencing headaches, and facial numbness. I was sent from one doctor to the next, for many years. Finally in 2017-18, I was diagnosed with Trygeminal Neuralgia. This condition is debilitating, and medicine doesn't help.I have facial numbness on the left side of my face, accompanied with severe pain. I have a constant burning, pain and numbness in my left foot and leg.My left hip pops, and I'm in constant pain. My right hand swells, and shakes when pain is severe. The one thing that worries me the most is the episodes of falling. I have had several EMG, EEG, MRI, Bone Density. I keep being told I'm ok, doctors don't understand why I'm falling. My legs, buckle under me, and I just drop. I am emotionally and Physically drained. It seems that, my pain, and suffering is a complete mystery and I feel like I'm losing this battle. I look perfectly normal , and I'm always having to tell doctors and people in general , that I'm not. I feel so discouraged at times. I am taking several medications, nothing is helping. My life revolves around pain, I do my best at staying positive, I just need to know what's wrong? I use a walker, sometimes a cane for mobility and stability.
