- CASE FILE
I have daily headaches for 22 years now. I’ve been to many doctors & had surgeries.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I was first diagnosed with Migraine and Sinus headaches. I had sinus surgery & saw at least 10 different doctors. Then I was referred to a headache clinic, & went there for a year. Doctor tried all medications for migraines. Referred me to Johns Hopkins pain center. They did many nerve blocks, a nerve stimulator, and other pain medicine. Referred to a top Neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins in 2001. I had experimental surgery, a ganglionectomy on my C2 & C3. Pain returned within 6 months. Then I was referred to a neurologist who had me on opioids. I found another neurologist that helped me go off of the opioids & was trying Laser Light Therapy. This helped some. I have since relocated & my current doctor has diagnosed me with migraines & arthritis.
