ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Here is the story of my 10 year battle. It started with a bull's eye rash, body pain, weight loss,Spinal meningitis. Tests shower positive for Lyme Disease . I began I.V antibiotic treatment. Pain in my knees and back was excruciating. I developed pneumonia and para cardiomyopathy, nodules on my lungs. I was in wheelchair for 10 months, using a feeding tube, and bed ridden. Many visits to the E.R. for pain. I was diagnosed with Lupus while in the hospital. I had to have my gallbladder removed. I did intense hyperbaric treatment and I.V. antibiotics for a month. I got better, but still in full body pain and fatigue. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I had severe back and neck pain. I have had 2 artificial disc replacement in my neck, lower fusion and SI fusion. Still my back pain is a 7 on a daily basis. I suffered Spinal Meningitis for the 3rd time, (because I also had it when I was a baby,) I had Shingles as well. I got back injections, rezotomoy on my lower back nerves. I have random Grand Mal seizures. but the doctors have not found a cause for them. I tremor and shake then pass out. I have muscle spasms and feel like I have arthritis all over. I have had multiple kidney stones, multiple cysts, multiple ulcers, hernias. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease Ulcerative colitis, esophageal issues, gastrointestinal. I had a hysterectomy. I was diagnosed with HPV, endometriosis . I feel like I have Chrons disease every time I eat. My abdomen swells. I get nauseous, vomit. I keep getting sinus and ear infections. I had surgery for deviated septum, but now both nostrils are deviated, I have pain behind my eyes and constant headaches. I have tenderness in my lymph nodes, I have a hard lump in my throat. My white blood cell count is always off showing an infection somewhere in my body. Every part of my body has been diagnosed with something. Do I have chronic Lyme disease? Is this the result of it? I feel like no one is looking at the bigger picture and just symptomatically diagnosing me. Where is all this pain coming from? After all my spinal surgeries why am I still in so much pain. I have just accepted I have limitations and severe pain everyday, I push myself everyday because I am a mother and wife and I want to keep up with my family. On the outside I look healthy, but on the inside I am fighting and suffering. I take zero opioids. It is sad in this world that people like me who need opioids a couple times a month for real physical pain cant be prescribed them, because of the drug seekers who have abused them, and now every doctor is scared to prescribe them. I take Lyrica, Cymbalta, trazodone, sinus medication, omeprazole, flexeril, immodium, peppermint oil, atenolol. Motrin Tylenol for pain and swelling. I am exhausted going to doctor appointments and needing multiple surgeries, and still I suffer.
