I have this constant ringing in both my ears or it's coming from my brain also my ears have been crackling ever since I got the ringing.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Since the ringing has not stopped or changed I believe I have a condition called ototoxicity. I've been dealing with a constant same tone high pitch ringing frequency. I have seen a doctor, an audiologist, and a ENT specialist they cannot come up with a answer to why I have this constant ringing. The audiologist said I have no pressure build up pressing against my eardrum so that ruled out a tumor growing on my auditory nerve, and said my hearing is good. The ENT said I don't have acute otitis media and his conclusion was nerve damage. I have explained to them that this happen five minutes after I took a hit of dab (weed concentrate) and tried to go to bed. Each doctor is surprised that the dab has done that to me and can't find any evidence to support how the dab affected my ears or brain/nerve which is why I believe I have ototoxicity from using dab over the past 2 years. I have been using marijuana for the past 10 years and have never had this problem the past 2 years leading up to the 10yr mark I've been using dab concentrates. After the first day of ringing I ended up getting dizzy and started to have problems with my ear and having symptoms like the aural fullness and sensitivity to sound but the aural fullness went away after two weeks and I just have sensitivity to sounds which make everything sounds louder along with the constant ringing. I can also make my ears crakle at will by opening my mouth and turning my neck from left to right which tells me there might be some kind of fluild in my eardrum or eustachian tubes ? But I don't have the aural fullness effect and I've never had a history problem with my ears or eustachian tubes and I don'have ear pain thankfully. I can still hear everything just fine no deafness I've been dealing with this ringing for 4 months now and have no idea what happened. My only lead is I smoked a hit of dab like I had been as usual except I took a break for a week from marijuana and kept waking up super early as 3 am and could not go back to sleep. I got tired of waking up so early and I decided to smoke again and bang there it is ringing in my head after taking a dab hit. I have not been smoking dab since then and have using a lot of vitimans to try to fix whatever happen but so far no luck. I scheduled an appointment with my doctor to talk about an MRI scan and see if anything is wrong. Any information as to what happen to me would be greatly appreciated sleeping with constant background nosie to block out the ringing has been rough and I miss the quiet.
