Thoracic, Shoulder and Neck Pain
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Thoracic, Shoulder and Neck Pain. Have been to approximately 14 different types of doctors and a pain program through a rehabilitation clinic. Have tried many medications, none have worked and also hyper-sensitive to most medications. Have Had MRI of all portions of spine. Pain radiates through body when pain gets bad. Pain not always in same area. Wear lidocaine patches every day. Have to tape them to body. Diagnose of myofascial pain syndrome because it does not fit any other condition. Continue to work full-time for healthcare benefits. Skin extremely sensitive to touch. Most painful to not move so try to walk 7000-10000 steps a day. Recent weight gain of 20 lbs. Sleep issues because of the pain and recently diagnosed sleep apnea. Have suffered and looked for a cure for over 15 years. Have also tried chiropractic, massage and physical therapy. Sometimes helps, sometimes makes worse. Physical therapy, strain counter-strain, has been more successful than anything else. Often feel like just managing pain. Would be willing to try anything. Think that a multi-dimensional approach might help. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
