ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
After I hit 7-8th grade my body was and still is in a constant state of pain. I get spasms in my back, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. All of which send a shooting pain to the closest large joint. I have gotten two surgeries, one on each shoulder to “tie” my shoulder together. (Doctors words). Originally my Orthopedic doctor went in with the belief that I had a torn rotator cuff. My family and I got told a completely different story while I was in recovery. There was no torn rotator cuff, my joint simply wasn’t staying intact. I have been diagnosed with anxiety/ADD as well and when I have a bad episode my joint pain triples. My memory is non existent, I cannot focus on anything, and 95% of the time I don’t even want to get out of bed because of the constant pain. I never got a diagnosis, simply told there was nothing that can be done to fix it. To this day I am still in constant pain throughout my entire body - shoulders 100% included. I went from being an all-star cheerleader and being active every day to not wanting to leave my bed because of the pain.
