Undiagnosed and misdiagnosed muscle pain and weakness. Fatigue numbness and pins and needles in legs and arms, and hands and feet
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I started to feel sick in 2013 after birth of my son. Thought it was from lack of calories while nursing. Lymph nodes started swelling all over my body and I was getting frequent infections. I couldn’t wake up no matter how much I slept. One day I wound up in ER with HR of 150 bpm resting found out I had Pots syndrome. Finally thought I found what was wrong. Then disc started blowing in my lower back. So I thought once that was fixed I’d be fine again once fixed I couldn’t walk still. A dr said I had fibromyalgia. But still I can’t walk more than a foot stand more than a minute. I have tremors, pins and needles in feet and hands. My legs go numb my gate is off. I use a wheelchair almost everywhere I go. My eyes get blurry and I pass out and feel faint all the time! I can’t handle heat or cold temperatures. Every morning I wake up I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. I was told I have MS but then the tests come back negative. I’ve been fighting this battle for 6 years and every year I’m worse! I used to run and enjoy life now I can’t even leave my house! I’m in to much pain and no doctor can give me an answer and treat me!
