- CASE FILE
After an appendectomy, I've developed chronic digestive pain, nausea, violent diarrhea, distended belly, vomiting, and food intolerances.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Immediately following an appendectomy, I became very ill. I've suffered constant abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, excessive gas w/meals, extremely violent diarrhea, and sometimes vomiting. I'm suddenly gluten-intolerant, including other gmo grains like wheat, corn & rice. About 6 months after the appendectomy, I had the gall bladder removed. But that still didn't help. I've seen 2 surgeons, 2 gastroenterologist, an allergist, neurologist, psychiatrist, physical therapist, and a naturopath. I've had invasive tests, tried medications for anti-nausea, antacid, antibiotic, anti-bile, anti-spasm, antidepressants, nerve pain, probiotics & digestive enzymes, scar tissue massage therapy, a rigorous elimination diet & internal cleanses. After 7 yrs. I'm still sick about 13 hrs a day. Eating is a painful process every day of my life. I'm 46 yrs old, and wearing maternity clothes to accommodate my distended belly. My quality of life is greatly diminished. Any body have any ideas?
