- CASE FILE
I’ve been in pain every day for the last 18 years. I’ve been through so many doctors and test but there’s no definitive result.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I started having pain in my neck and upper back and migraines every day. As the years have progressed the pain is all over my body. I broke my ankle July 2017, I’ve had two surgeries to try to help it and I’m still in constant pain. I’ve had 15 surgeries including a hysterectomy and oophorectomy, two hernia repairs, gastric sleeve with hiatal hernia and diaphragm repair, a cystoscopy with biopsy that revealed interstitial cystitis, rotator cuff surgery and the pain won’t stop from that. I’ve had surgery to remove the bones from two of my toes because wearing shoes became excruciating. This pain has become debilitating and with the ankle injury I’m not even able to drive longer than 5-10 minutes because of the pain and burning. I’ve not slept all night in almost a year because of the shoulder pain. Pain medication does not work to get rid of the pain. Every procedure I’ve had there’s always cleaning of inflammation in whatever part of the body is being repaired. I’ve had several MRIs to check for Multiple Sclerosis. I’ve had positive ANA titers showing Schogrens but I don’t have the skin thickening so a rheumatologist ruled that out. I’ve been tested for lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and every other autoimmune disease. I just need answers instead of more pills.
