Left side pain for 3 years since gall bladder surgery, near constant bloating that grows worse throughout the day, trouble sleeping, anxiety
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
He had gall bladder removal surgery in January 2015, and has had unexplained left side pain ever since. He also suffers with near constant bloating that typically grows worse throughout the day, anxiety, trouble sleeping, possible sleep apnea (not diagnosed yet), dry mouth (possibly from anxiety medication), and unexplained burping. He has had many tests run, from upper endoscopy to colonoscopy, testing for Crohn's, celiac, spleen issues and even cancer. Everything has come back negative. He does not have a day without pain, and that probably is causing some of the anxiety. He worked with a GI doctor for over 2 years, with only temporary success. Everything they tried either only worked for a short time (like treating him for bacterial overgrowth in the intestines, which helped for awhile), or not at all. He was diagnosed with duodonitis in 2015, awhile after the gall bladder surgery, due to too much ibuprofen taken for migraines. He suffers every day with no help in sight. Looking for any clues anyone might have to bring him some relief!
