ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
5 years ago I was diagnosed with gastroparesis. After 2 years of issues and misdiagnosis I was continuously nauseous, vomiting, pain and loss of weight 3 years ago after no treatments worked I had a total gastrectomy. This was in hopes of having relief from symptoms but I still battle with pain, nausea, vomiting and weight loss on a day to day life. I am 48 years old, 5 ft 5 inches tall and my weight is 90 pounds. I have three children and a husband who do their best to help. I have seen so many doctors and so far they aren’t sure what to do to help me. I also am dealing with dumps syndrome and still not able to eat and this of substance. Still on a liquid diet and even some days that doesn’t work. I am very malnourished and I get iron infusion and b-12 shots. When the days get worse and I have more pain and nausea and not being able to control my symptoms it requires a ER Visit and possible admitting to a hospital to get fluids and nourishment. Please help.
