- CASE FILE
I was diagnosed with cancer as a teen (13), I currently live with side effects from my treatment, and I can't seem to connect the dots.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
A little before my cancer diagnosis, I was having a hard time eating, I was not able to open my mouth wide enough to fit two fingers in. My radiation treatment damaged my saliva glands, which means my teeth can clean themselves naturally, and has caused tooth decay. Aside from that, I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism shortly after treatment, I have yet to obtain a balanced thyroid.
