- CASE FILE
A long year of nausea, agony, and sleepless nights. After losing 50lbs and counting, I'm scared to wait any longer.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Starting last October, I began to develop nausea in the mornings that would wake me from sleep around 3/4 in the morning and keep me up vomiting and in severe pain for many hours. My first trip to a doctor resulted in an assumed gastritis in which they prescribed me Omeprazole which ultimately did not end up working. Still continuing to vomit daily, I ended upin the emergency room severely dehydrated, and though blood tests were run, I was ultimately discharged with no diagnosis. Not long after, I became dehydrated again, unable to keep down any food or water and wound up in the emergency room again. This time, I was given Pepcid, Zantac, Zofran, Reglan, and Phenergan, but I was discharged again with a missed diagnosis. Over the course of the year, I was in and out of emergency rooms and hospitalized because of the severve pain and inability to hold down food, but nothing has shown up on the tests this far. I have lost 50lbs due to this and continue to lose weight daily, and as my most recent endoscopy once again came up perfect despite having symptoms just that morning, I do not want to have to get fluids through an IV daily though it has started to become that severe. I am seeking help because my symptoms are getting more intense daily and I feel every doctor has sent me away without taking my symptoms seriously.
