ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
3 years ago my left arm, lower back and left leg started hurting extremely dull and heavy growing pain like feelings along with numbness and tingling on and off. My groin seemed to catch every time I would step forward and it almost completely make my leg numb for a split second to where I’d fall a little bit. Prior to this I’ve always had lower back issues, but now it feels like there’s someone squeezing and twisting my spinal cord. When I have to have a bowel movement I get really sharp pain and my stomach feels like it’s eating itself, left side hip/groin pain and my spine feels like it’s being squished, I also most times have no warning, the sensation comes and liquid starts to exit, I haven’t had a solid bowel in months and go months at a time before having one that isn’t liquid form, but I notice more back pain when I need to make a bowel movement. I have herniated discs L5 S1 but the specialists say it wouldn’t cause my numbness or pain. On top of that, my arms and legs keep going numb and tingling, I have tingling of my tongue most days periodically. When my arms are raised, my pulse disappears. I have strength, but no duration, no endurance. Seconds of holding my arms in any position but by my side, they go numb and feel dead. I’m very weak with no grip, some days things fall out of my hands. When I am sitting, I can not feel my legs after a minute or two they’re so numb. I tested positive for a Double Stranded DNA and ANA, then I tested negative. I tested positive when I switched doctors again, and the second test was negative. I have very low heat tolerance, to where I get very nauseated and vomit. I get blisters on my arms, in the sun. Discoloration in my skin, sores that won’t heal. Little painful lumps in my right side that even water hitting it stings. I’ve been told it might be MS, that it most likely is Lupus, could be Thorasic Outlet Syndrome, and my favorite is that it’s all in my head. But after all the tests, I’ve been told it wasn’t anything and there’s nothing causing my new debilitating life. I have tried everything and given the doctors every description possible to help them figure this out, some symptoms were so bad I was awake for 72 hours straight because my left leg hurt so bad. I wake up and my arms are heavy, burning down my middle finger, asleep. Tested for carpal tunnel, negative. I’ve gone from being active to debilitating pain when walking/sitting/standing/twisting or bending. Even subtle movement in my arms hurts my lower spine. It doesn’t matter what I do I can not escape the constant stabbing pain in very localized areas. I’ve been seen 113 times for this issue by several specialist and even though there’s a little of this and a little of that (evidence there is something wrong but no doctor knows what), nothing should be causing my symptoms.
