I was diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome in 2003 and since then alot of other illnesses have come on board
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Sjogrens Syndrome with intercysitial cystitis and hypothyroid and gastroparesis stage 3 kidney disease. My thumb joints feel like they are dislocating and are extremely painful, sometimes it hurts to open a door knob and my hands go numb also, my elbows are very sensitive when i put them on the table. When I take steroids I actually lose weight. The fatigue and brain fog are awful. I am seeking help because no one knows what is going on with my hands at this point with the joints feeling like they are going to dislocate they say its just arthritis. The pain is horrible in all my joints as well. I am on a ton a meds that dont seem to be working. My bladder feels like its on fire all the time im on cyclosporine for it which kind of helps with the Sjogrens dryness but thats it. I would love to be on one medication to manage all my symptoms are fewer than I already am on. I also feel like Im going to pass out when I walk sometimes. I had an abnormal stress test showing that. My cardiologist mentioned dysautonomia but hasnt treated it. I had an abnormal EMG as well on my upper arms and neck. The ortho just said i have stenosis and that was it. I get a weird stinging pain when I try and eat it doesnt happen all the time. There have been times when i blow dry my hair and my heart rate would go to 140 and I cant breathe. I also get bad pain at times when I try to breathe in and they said it is pleuritis but I get it at least once a year.
