ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
28 year old female. Currently experiencing rapid weight gain, hypertension, excess body hair, anxiety (general and social), depression, abnormal periods, abdominal pain, constipation, sweating and tachycardia in social situations. Hasn't been to the doctor in years due to debilitating anxiety. Autoimmune disease runs in family. Diagnosed with neuronal intestinal dysplasia at 2 weeks old resulting in colostomy. Reversal was 1 year later. Developmentally delayed as a young child (late Walker, talker, etc). Many dental issues as a toddler. Struggled in school and diagnosed and treated for ADD around 10 years old. Managed to get through grade school but mainly because parents "helped" (did) homework and projects. Started having manic behavior after high school (meeting men online and even leaving the state without telling parents). Has never held a job Or had any ambition to go to school or try to better life in any way. Periods of self-destructive behavior (promiscuity, self-harm) and was even admitted to a mental health facility but discharged only a couple days later. Never given meds long enough to work. It's been a sad life and someone needs to help diagnose or this will go on forever. Something physical and something mental... unsure if they are related.
