ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My illness started April 2018. My hair started falling out in circular patches. I also had joint pain in my hands and feet with edema. I went to my PCP my sed rate and crp were elevated. They suspected autoimmune and sent me to rheumatology. I was bit by a tick and tested for lymes disease in May 2018 it was negative. I got ecoli in June. Starting September I was so sick I had to quit my job. I started running daily fevers- still am. I also have chronic nausea and vomiting every day along with diarrhea. I have seen three rheumatologist that have tested me for everything under the sun. Everything is normal. We even went to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida and they did a bone marrow biopsy to work up my daily fevers and it was normal. I also have muscle issues and weakness in my right leg. I also have involuntary muscle jerking in my hands and feet that occurs off and on. July last year I had vision issues with my right eye. They did a spinal tap to rule out MS. It was normal. l also have head pressure off and on, blurry vision in right eye, and pressure behind right eye off and on. I get a weird sensation on my head like I'm wearing a helmet but I don't have one on. My neurologist diagnosed me with small fiber neuropathy. Just recently in July I developed a blood clot in my left foot and I am having a work up on that. Also I am very short of breath and seeing a pulmonologist for a work up on that. I have a home health nurse that comes to give me fluids every two weeks and IVIG infusions monthly. My rheumatologist's best guess is sero negative rheumatoid arthritis and is treating me with methotrexate. My inflammation is at the highest it has ever been and I have no answers of what is wrong with me. My quality of life is terrible and I think will continue to decline without a diagnosis. We are desperate for answers. The only things I have been diagnosed with are hypothyroidism, pcos, small fiber neuropathy. I have no where else to turn. Every doctor has told me they have exhausted all resources and all testing on me. But this can't be it. I refuse to give up and quit on this life. Two people this week have told me about your show. I'm hoping maybe you can help.
