- CASE FILE
Before February 2019, I had a normal life, but everything changed with a strange headache.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
On February 2019 during the night, I started getting a headache on the left side of my head with facial weakness. I started to become afraid and developed heat flashes, shaking, elevated BP, and tingling on the left side of my body. The headache was consistent (not episodic), so i would feel it all the time. As the days progressed it became for painful, sensitive, and stiffness/weakness which would spread on the left side of my face, jaw, neck, shoulder, arm, and leg. The pain of the headache would increase when I used the left side of my body such as moving my arm or taking a step. I couldn't sit or sleep because it would increase the pain, which would i wouldn't be able to sleep. Eating became difficult because i started to burp and feel full quick. Even when i tried to eat normally it would increase the pain in my head. Then my breathing was affected where i couldn't breathe well so i was taking short quick breaths. Eventually because the burping(bloating), early satiety, and pain coming from my headache i started to lose weight rapidly. I lost 10 pounds in February and march. In May it seemed like my symptoms had stabilized, however when June came it started to flare up again. All the symptoms started coming back twice as bad. Now i deal with stiffness/weakness, weigh 128(from 158), I'm afraid if i don't find treatment soon its going to get worse and lose the ability to walk and eat. I don't want to be a burden to my family or my loved ones and continue to help them like they're helping me.
