ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My 16 year old daughter is going in for her 4th surgery on her joints next month. This all started with severe stomach pain that we were told was GERD, or Ulcers. She suffers through the pain. She then started having severe pain, swelling, and weakness in her joints, she has had surgery on both shoulders, a wrist, and her hip is next. The ligaments in her body loosen and do not tighten back up, they dislocate. The most recent has been severe chest pain, palpitations, and passes out a few times a week. She has seen so many doctors, even wore a halter monitor for 3 days which showed episodes of very fast heart beat, and very slow. They dr's say her Twaves are going the wrong way when she exerts herself, but they say it is not going to kill her, so they let us go. She continues to live in excrusiating pain, even dropped out of school last year, in 10th grade, because the pain is so bad she is not able to keep up on her work. She used to be a straight A student, cheer leader, and all around energetic, loving, kind, girl. She now cries herself to sleep, and has lost all of her friends. Please help us! She is losing her drive to fight.
