- CASE FILE
My son was seen by an ophthalmologist and was diagnosed with terrien’s marginal degeneration. He said it’s rare. He has only seen two cases.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My son has noticed within the last year wearing contacts has been bothering his eyes. They have become irritating and dry. Looking into the mirror he has noticed a dark circle around his eyes. This disease causes thinning of the cornea leaving lipid deposits on the eye. My deep concern is that he will eventually lose his sight.
