- CASE FILE
I have been having severe leg cramps since I was 9 years old. In the past 3 years I have been having them daily, sometimes in both legs.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have severe leg cramps that can last as long as 45 minutes. They are so painful that sometimes I vomit while having them. I also have trouble walking for hours after having them. I have them every day, not matter what medication I have taken. They wake me up from a dead sleep and they come on without notice. I'm afraid that one day I will get them while driving. I have even had vein surgery to see if that would eliminate the cramping but it did not help at all. I have taken pain killers, muscle relaxers, and even medications for seizures. I have been having the cramps daily in my legs but recently have been getting them in my hands, arms, and even face. I am desperate for an answer as I have been to vein specialists, neurologists, general doctors, and more to try to find an answer.
