- CASE FILE
Hi, I'm Kim TBI survivor and bilateral joint reconstruction survivor with a right jaw joint still dislocating despite success on the left.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Involved in auto accident in 2016 resulting in head trauma and bilateral jaw injuries. Despite three surgeries including two reconstructions I still dislocate on the right. My lower arch teeth shifted in connection to my jaw injury and I have continual swelling under right jaw bone. I do have bone loss in right jaw bone and spur. My left jaw felt like a new chance at life post surgical management. My right joint will not quite being able to dislocate and have sever pain when it does so. I also suffer hemiplegic type post trauma migraines paralyzing the right side of my body mimicking a stroke. I have extreme upper extremity weakness, which right is more affected than left. I still experience cognitive wipe out and exhaustion. I'm seeking help with continued jaw joint dislocation as I feel my overall heath would improve if I could beat this.
