ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have been experiencing poly neuropathy for several years with no known cause. However I was able to work full time and have a full life. In January 2019 my legs gave out on me and I was admitted to the hospital. I was told that my Potassium levels were dangerously low. After my discharge, I had a pulmonary embolism and a blood clot in my left leg. Since that time, I was only able to work 4 hours/day. I began to fall asleep at work and my emails and paperwork became gibberish. I was put on full time leave in May 2019 and applied for Long Term Disability. The pain in my legs and feet is so excruciating that I have been restricted to the use of a walker or a cane. I was falling several time a week for no reason. I also began losing weight at a much higher rate. Between December 2018 and May 2019 I had lost close to 50 lbs. I was losing weight prior to December 2018, but not that quickly. I have had celiac disease since 2010, but I have been very careful about my diet. I was also diagnosed with MS in June of 2006, but that diagnosis was subsequently taken away in December of 2007. I have also been diagnosed with pseudo tumor cerebri.
