ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
In 2000 I had a noncancerous growth removed from 2/3 of the right side of my thyroid. After this, I tested positive for hashimoto's, and gained over 100 lbs in one years time. I gain weight so easily. I have all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. I have autoimmune problems. Since they removed part of my thyroid, my health is in a severe condition. I am in so much pain that my quality of life is so poor. I have a whole host of other problems such as fibromyalgia, acid reflux, have incidents where I have to gag down food due to feeling like I could throw up as soon as my first bite. I only eat when I get hungry so don't eat sometimes for a day at a time. I have been in and out of the ER constantly for numerous problems. The most common reason is unexplained stomach pain. I always get sent home with no diagnosis. I am totally exhausted most of the time. Seen several endocrinologists and an internal medicine specialist and all of them including my regular doctor say it's not my thyroid. My endocrinologist says he knows there is something wrong but doesn't know what it is. I can't stand it anymore. I don't know what to do. I just want to die. There is more but I just don't have the energy to write anymore
