- CASE FILE
Have radiating pain in neck, shoulders, with stiffness in the mid and lower back with inconsistent relief for years.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have seen 2 orthopedic doctors, 2 pain specialists, and 3 chiropractors including the one I see currently. I get tremendous pain in my neck, shoulders, and upper back. I have been told these are muscle spasms as well as arthritis in my neck. I also have been told I have a herniated disk in my lumbar. Between all the doctors I have seen, I have done physical therapy twice, tried pain medication, had 3 rounds of trigger point injections, and 2 epidurals. I have had an MRI done a few years back as well as xrays. I've been told by some of the doctors that some of the pain is due to the size of my chest. I have also been told that I am too young to have this pain all the time. I am 30 years old and have had 2 quit 2 jobs as restaurant manager because my neck and back could not physically handle standing for 10 hours a day and heavy lifting. I now I have a desk job, for the past 2 years. I have needed a special chair ordered for me at my last job to get some relief from pain. For my current job I have bought lumbar supports and seat cushions to try and avoid a special chair being needed, but I am having little luck. I have spent so much time and money trying to get a spider answer on what is wrong with me and a solution for good. Everything that has been done in the past is a band aid. I feel hesitant to do many things like glad on rollercoasters or plan a day in the city due to pain that it can cause. I am terrified doe when I do get pregnant. What pain am I going to be in when I am tremendous pain now? This has been going on since 2014 and I don't know what else to do.
