ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I had a hysterectomy in 2013, I had a colectomy 2014 all due to chronic pain, neusea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and constipation. I seemed to have gotten over everything since then. But then in 2017-2018 the symptoms all started back up. And this time I had to have an emergency surgery due to a bowel obstruction, then after several month long hospital stays a surgeon (Amitt Khanna) said he felt I needed a hernia mesh placement. So I got that surgery done 9/10/2018. I have not been well since then. I have to take zofran (nausea medicine) just about several times a day. I vomit 2-4 a week. And now last week 9/25/2019 this bad stabbing pain started in my abdomen. Along with nonstop nausea. Then on 10/01/2019 vomiting started . For one whole week I went back and forth to emergency rooms my PCP, and then finally the surgeon that did the mesh placement. All saying they see nothing. The surgeon was the worse. I suggested that maybe my body sees the mesh as a foreign object maybe my body is rejecting it. Maybe that's why since the mesh surgery I've gotten sicker and sicker. He (surgeon Dr. Khanna) said never, "I did everything right if I did something wrong I would go in and fix it" then he suggested for the second time that I see a gastroenterologist and have them right me a prescription for something.
