Widespread pain after hernia repair and multiple abdominal surgeries
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I had abdominal hernia repair & 5-7 years later I began having abdominal pain, with radiating vaginal pain. I had the doctor who did the hernia repair to do exploratory surgery and found the mesh had frayed. He cleaned area up. 6 months later pain increased they did surgery again and ended up removing mesh implanted another and my body rejected. They later removed all mesh and left me without any. Each time I have any surgery I end up with a staph infection, regardless of having antibiotics. I now have widespread pain. I have blood pressure issues, anemic, get blisters inside my nose, migraines, that cause seizures. I have extreme vaginal and abdominal pain. No doctors have any reasons for all of the pain. I recently had some tests done for Lupus & RA. I have to retest in 6 months. One test was negative and the other was positive. Doctors will not treat without both tests being positive. I am no longer able to have sex due to all of the pain. Sometimes it's excruciating pain.. is debilitating. No doctors want to touch me due all of the problems I have with surgeries. Because I have no "real" diagnosis, pain management won't change my medications.
