I have a genetic condition that caused me to have my colon removed, since then I have developed tumors, and am in constant pain.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
In the past almost 5 years, I have been through alot, I've been diagnosed with F.A.P(can't spell the middle word) it cause colon cancer if left unchecked. I had my colon removed on may 5th 2015, and about a year afterwards I went in for a CT scan and they found masses in my abdomen and now my pelvis. Im currently on nexevar 400 mg a day, to try and shrink the tumors, they cannot be removed surgically because they grow on scar tissue and there is a high chance for recurrence. I'm in constant abdominal pain, back pain, I've been to the hospital more times than I can count for this. They never find anything wrong, just run the normal tests, tell me everything looks fine and send me on my way. My oncologist through dana Farber is useless, doesn't listen to anything I have to say. I just want to know what's wrong with my body. Why I'm in pain all the time, with no answers. I have children to raise, and I can't do that very well if I'm always in pain or in the hospital. I've had pancreatitis twice in the past 6 months and I don't know the answer to why for that either.
