- CASE FILE
I have a condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome which stems from a fracture that didn't heal.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My fracture occurred in August of 2017. The fracture took a long time to heal, which then caused my diagnosis. I have severe nerve damage in the entire right side of my body. I am unable to stand, and walking is very difficult. My pain levels are extreme most days, and I deal with extreme temperature changes. I have had lumbar shots, physical and water therapy, a neurostimulator trial and acupuncture, all to little or no improvement. At 42, this has completely changed my life. There are some days where it is very difficult to get out of bed. All of my daily routines have been altered. I have had to learn new ways to do almost everything.
