Crushing facial pain and bilateral ankle, leg and wrist pain; hand tremor, slurred speech, facial droop, poor vision and hearing; 45 yrs old.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My symptoms began in 2004; I've seen 23 doctors trying to get a diagnosis. It began with shocking pains in my back and tremors, and now I experience burning facial pain diagnosed as trigeminal neuralgia in 2017, that radiates down to right side of neck and right shoulder; extreme fatigue; burning pain in ankles, calves, wrists; burning scalp; Heavy and long periods; anemia; burning stomach, hoarse voice, burning and dry skin on palms; splitting skin on palms and feet; twisting thumbs; bilateral kidney cysts; Diagnosed with GERD in 2017; foot drop of right foot; trouble finding and forming words; slurred speech sometimes; short term recall problems; blurred vision in the morning; poor night vision; clumsiness; walking in to walks (off balance); spots and points of light in my vision; headaches when I'm tired; jumbled speech when I'm tired/too much input; sudden pressure and pain in my nose along with nausea, which always results in my nose growing (since 2014); etc. I've had MRIs, CT, spinal tap, ELISA (but not western blot), EEG, EKG...still undiagnosed. The only medicine I take is gabapentin for "nerve pain" in my face. Some days it is feels as if the left and right sides of my face are pushing against each other. I am seeking help because the symptoms have become hard to manage, the pain breaks through the medicine and greatly impacts every minute of the day- my ability to work from home and care for my children; I am slumping over, and am slower physically and mentally. I am ready to get under treatment and live life to my fullest for my self and my family! Please let me know how you can help. I greatly appreciate your time.
