I’ve been thru 5 heart surgeries including open heart and a pace maker and my blood pressure and pulse are still high
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
For the past 5 years I have been in and out of icu due to my blood pressure and pulse spiking. Last year I had two heart ablations down to slow down my heart rate however, my heart went into tachycardia during surgery. 9 days later, I went in for open heart surgery and they found a thymus gland and a 3 inch by 1 inch tumor filled with cancer. They burned over 20 spots on my heart. 5 months later I received a pace maker. I am still having high spikes in my pulse (160bpm) and spikes in blood pressure 180/115 multiple times a week. I have bad chest pains and cramps as well as a weight gain of 30lbs in a month. I was on 27 medications at one point. No medication seems to help for more than a week. I have gone across the country to find help but no one seems to know why this is happening. All I get told is that I need to get used to it.
