- CASE FILE
I suffer with vertigo, 12 years now and tinnitus and pulse beat in my left ear. Staying focused and daily life is a struggle.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) 10 years ago. This is a disturbance of the inner ear and the crystals, which is how your balance works to walk or stand up. The tinnitus and pulsing and hearing loss is a result of Menieres and BPPV. My issue is that this is suppose to get better as I got older, now at 55 years old, the symptoms have become worse and cronic.. I am very outgoing and active, I love being out doors and staying busy, this vertigo has become such a struggle that I feel anxiety all the time. When a vertigo episode comes on, I cannot walk or stand. I am down on the ground crawling and very nauseous from the vertigo spins. I continuously do all and many things to help get though a day, a week and now 2 months straight. Massage does help, but not affordable for me.. I worry that this may have to do with 3 compressed and shifted vertebrae in my neck or Lyme Disease, which test results show negative numerous times.
