Brother had a brain injury 3 years ago
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My 21 year old brother had a brain injury 3 years ago when both his lungs collapsed due to Pnemothorax that led to a condition called Lance Adams Syndrome (LAS). Due to his condition, he gets tremors everywhere in his body including his tongue and vocal cords. He has lost the ability to walk (without support), lost his speech ( words come out but not clear enough to understand), is unable to do anything with his hands as the tremor doesnt allow him to have steady hands. It has also increased his sensitivity towards sound and made his anxiety worse. Currently he is on the following medications: Keppra, Depakote, Xyrem, Fycompa & Niacin. There is no cure for this condition at this time.
