- CASE FILE
Though we know what syringamyelia is and even have a golf superstar, Bobby Jones, after diagnosis the answers stop.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
In 2002 I started having severe pain in my ribs. We found a cyst that called a syrinx. It is in the middle of my spinal chord and pushing against my nerves in my upper (cervical) & lower (thorasic) spine.
After surgery I have never been the same. I went into management then sales to try to deal with the pain but keep afloat. A dull relentless crushing pain slowly, daily, minute by minute increases. That was until October 2017. Since the the pain is managed with pills and marijuana to a distracting level 7. I have acute pains that are regularly 9 or 10 to accompany it. A tradesman who can perform no trade I am quickly loosing everything. My syrinx has over tripled in size but there are no answers.
