- CASE FILE
I currently experience chronic dibilitating pain throughout my entire body which the symtoms can be for several diagnosis.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I took a fall 15yrs ago and have had chronic pain that has gotten worse in the past year or two. Then a few months ago I fell hitting the back of my head/neck on stairs.
Along with the above, I have been diagnosed with; 8mm herniated brain aka Chiari, Degenerative Disc Disease, Herniated Discs in Cervical & Lumbar with nerve compressions, Ulnar Neuritous, Carpal Tunnel. I've been referred for a lumbar tap to get a dementia work up as well as Suspected Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. I've been referred for testing on Pituitary Masses also. My symptoms are confusing to Dr.s as is the Chiari. Per previous MRIs, I was not born with Chiari which makes it more rare of a condition. Having said that, if the reason my brain herniated can be fixed, the herniation may repair itself which would help my symptoms and be a miracle. Unfortunatley the time it may take to find the underlying condition(s) could result in irreversable damage.
