Anything that causes stimulation, i.e. video games, working out, reading, causes debilitating fatigue and severe feeling of unwellness.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I am seeking help for my ailment because it impacts every aspect of my life. It has prevented me from finishing school as well as limited my ability to do most jobs. I have been struggling with this issue for 5 years. Anything that is stimulating, causes my body to become over stimulated until I ultimately crash. Once I crash it is extremely difficult for me to do anything. I have severe fatigue, can't concentrate on anything, and my body feels like it is going haywire. It can take me days to weeks to months to even begin feeling somewhat better. As time goes on it gets more severe and I have over time developed a significant sugar/carbohydrate intolerance, gluten intolerance, caffeine intolerance, bouts of atrial flutter, and complete exercise intolerance. Even something as simple as reading a book or watching TV is a trigger. Within the last year I went into atrial flutter twice and had to be cardioverted for one of them. I was born with anorchism which gives me a congenital issue with my hormones which may be a factor. I have seen a plethora of doctors including multiple endocrinologists, naturopathic doctors, neurologists, cardiologists, and electrophysiologists. Most doctors tell me they have no idea how to help me and that tests come back completely normal. A few of the naturopathic doctors have began treating me for hormonal issues such as fludrocortisone for low aldosterone, and hydrocortisone for my cortisol levels, however my body can't tolerate anything I have been given. Even something as simple as a multivitamin wreaks havoc on my body. I have also tried acupuncture which works to help calm my body down but leaves me feeling extremely fatigued as well. I am desperate for help.
